DOG KENNEL HILL PROJECT
A CROSS AND THEN ACROSS
Our first venture as Dog kennel Hill Project exploring ritual of a solo and duet alongside.
It was commissioned for The Place Prize 2004.
The work includes an original score devised by Angie Atmadjaja, design by Theo Clinkard, and lighting design by Charles Linehan.
Centered around the word Devotion the work has an epic sense of ritual. This is explored through a solo ( ritual for the self) and a duet (ritual within a relationship) They happen simultaneously, one forming a framework /backdrop in which to view the other.
This work has been performed at The Place Theatre, Chisenhale dance space, Laban Bonnie Bird theatre and TanzArts Festival Giessen Germany.
