DOG KENNEL HILL PROJECT is Henrietta Hale, Rachel Lopez de la Nieta and Ben Ash. Their work is performance, dance, embodiment, choreography and lived philosophy. In collaboration and alongside selected associate artists and partners, they develop investigative projects to specific contexts or communities including theatres, galleries, screenworks, and non-traditional or outdoor sites.

Work is characterised by its subtle wit, resistance to definition and ability to surprise and intrigue. It has been described as intriguing, slippery, mind-blowing and laugh-out-loud funny. We see it as both formalist and anarchic.
DKHP is a series of relationships, negotiations and experiments. These have been collected under umbrella titles that we call “projects' from which many shows, productions, screenings, talks can emerge.
Projects start with a social, political, historical or philosophical curiosity and involve practices of meeting people, moving, shifting locations, interviewing, writing and framing things that exist naturally. They usually span a few years and inform many of our shows, commissions and education work like a web of intersecting pathways.
